This is a really nice restaurant in a strip-mall kind of area in one of St. Louis’ commercial districts. It has this wooden bridge that you have to walk through to get to the restaurant, and there is also a scenic view right outside the restaurant of this pond-like area. The restaurant is very spacious, the waiting area is one of the nicest I’ve seen in a restaurant. The ambience is a romantic one, I don’t think this would be a good place to take a family with very young children. The menu is nice and the food tasted really good.
Our waitress was a bit ditzy as she had forgotten to give us any utensils for our dinner. We had to ask another table server for utensils, and even then, that person forgot as well. However, our waitress was very friendly so that mishap didn’t bother me or take away from the overall service. If I had to compare it to another popular seafood chain restaurant, I’d say this was an upscale Red Lobster, if that helps readers to decide what kind of restaurant it is.
