Cascarino’s Pizzeria & Ristorante Review — College Point, NY

This is a lovely restaurant, and my favorite Italian restaurant in the area — possibly even all of Queens, NY.

There is parking in the back of the restaurant, but it’s not a very big lot though.  The front of the restaurant is a pizzeria, and there’s also private (and more intimate) dining in the back of the restaurant, they also have a room for private parties.  I have eaten here many of times, there menu and price is very good and reasonable.  I love getting the mussels from them; unlike other Italian restaurants/pizzerias they’re not stingy with their food.  They give you a full plateful of food, which is what I love.  They also have desserts and they deliver as well.

I had my son’s baptism party here (in the private room), and they give you the option of bringing your own cake.  What I loved about having the party here was that I got all of the leftovers!  They served the food family style for my event.  If you want a casual lunch or dinner, eat up front (I also recommend eating up front with families that have very young children), but if you want a more romantic setting you can also ask to be seated in the back as well.
